New Years Resolution
I just wrote this e-mail to a dear friend and thought I’d post it!
I am constantly learning that in order to find true happiness, we have to be willing to change. At the end of the day, we only have ourselves to answer to. We can blame our family, our friends, our significant others or even God for being miserable but WE are the only one forced to live with our choices. I am really trying to apply the principal that we choose to be happy or not. It’s so simple and seemingly obvious but when it comes down to it, the average person’s thoughts are 70% negative (according to Napoleon Hill: Think and Grow Rich). This is astounding considering that our thoughts determine our level of happiness. No wonder most of us are unhappy! I am trying to do as the Bible says and “capture each thought”, then I have been changing it to a positive (even if its not true). Our brains register everything that we tell it as fact, weather it’s true or false. So, it’s extremely important that we start feeding ourselves positive things. Those positive things will manifest and become reality. The Law of Attraction states that whatever we think about and talk about will multiply. Sooooooo, this year, my New Years Resolution is to manifest positivity by changing the way I think, one thought at a time. I want to be conscious about what I attract to my life. We are in a lot more control of the outcome of our life than we realize.
